A sculpture garden consisting of six monumental Chroma Lupines in the midst of the vast vineyards and olive groves of the Meneghetti Wine Hotel & Winery in Istria. Those are the elements shaping the open-air exhibition of Arne Quinze curated by art consultant Reiner Opoky.
By showcasing the raw yet delicate beauty of nature, the artworks encourage visitors to pause and reconnect with their earthly roots. The lupine flower, Quinze’s inspiration for the sculptures, symbolizes the artist’s ally in his quest to reintegrate nature and diversity into our society. Once oppressed by the constraints of monocropping, the lupine flower now emerges as an emblem of hope and resilience, signifying the possibility of revitalizing and embracing diversity.
The Lupine sculptures by Arne Quinze will be on view at the Meneghetti winery from June 20 until December 2024.
